In the project, we implemented a robust foundation system to ensure structural stability and durability. The design included a 25mm thick mild steel (MS) base plate, circular in shape, welded to a 4x4 square post with a 6mm thick fillet weld. The base plate was securely anchored using four 1-inch J-bolts, each embedded 1 foot into 3000 PSI concrete. To enhance the structural integrity, we incorporated 12 numbers of #4 reinforcement bars and #3 links spaced at 6 inches on center, providing additional support and stability. The entire assembly, including the anchor bolts and base plate, was hot-dip galvanized to prevent corrosion and ensure longevity. The foundation plan and section details were meticulously drafted at a scale of 1-1/2"=1'0", ensuring precise execution and alignment with the project specifications.
